2005-2010 Kulturum i Hammenhög.

Min performance So this is how you can be walking and falling at the same time från sommar 2008, finns med på fyra helsidor.

Totalinspirerande!

Felicia Konrad doing 2012

2012 This is what I think I will do.
I will do concerts. With Felicia Konrad Cosmic Wash Over and with Trapets.
I will make a new music video Grand Centrifuge together with Peggy Eklöf.
I will make a new solo voice performance/installation.
I will experiment with new technique (for me!).
I will direct a film together and for the filmmaker Peggy Eklöf.
And also make an artsound piece for this film.
I am starting an performance group. (More of that later on).
And Trapets, our artsound duo, want to find a new space for do a new round in
Give me Your Sound in an extended version with a live choir.
Trapets will maybe release some material this year too.
Maybe I will participate in a piece that Charlotte Elm Ravn is applying money for.
My role will be if it happens, to write text and to make artsound for that.

This is what I think I will do. Peace out, peace on you!

From Friends Far Away and Near

I have recieved some nice response from friends far away and near.

Here is some of them:

“What a surprisingly multifaceted and rich of fantasy this production is! Evererybody is playing so damm good and your singing and your voice is so varied and full of expression. One favorite is In the Days of Foam, and your way of singing soul jazz in Some Nights are awesome. Give my love to Caroline, she plays so tight, beautiful and elegant!”
Lasse Lundbom Bom Bom Creative, Auckland, New Zealand.
(Drummer in the Swedish Composer Catharina Backman’s band, Katzen Kapell and former drummer in the punkrock band, KSMB, Sweden).

“Thanks for the eartravels! I especially like Grand Centrifuge and A Quiet Agreement. Grand Centrifuge for the crazy, theatrical energic, fun and surprising …A Quiet Agreement, for it’s simplicity – no need for more – genuine, as early blues for me.”
Niklas Aman - filmmusic and instrumentals

“The cd is fantastic. I already had one of the songs in my head since the concert in march 2011, … I often sing on that one when I am bicycling, Cosmic Wash Over (On the Edge of Beauty). My new favorite now is Falling Right Through. This record is now going to be the soundtrack on our trip to Berlin.
Catarina Rolfsdotter, journalist, author, moderator, yoga-teacher, working with sustainable environment, recently created city-art-training-scupltures installeted in the West Harbour, Malmö, Sweden.

Very intresting! I hear some postmodern, ambient jazzpop that is very dreamy and fragile, but there is also something very different breaking through, some sort of aggressiveness, a protest … a very strong experience to listen. I am fascinated by your expression and your voice, you are opinionated. You follow your own way and stay strong in the centre of your creations. Your are very inspiring! You are Awesome. “You don’t wanna’ fall asleep”.
Beautiful. Beautiful.
Kim Larsson, Eremonaut, Stockholm, Sweden

“It goes straight into me. I am not a “textperson”, I often mostley is caught by the music itself. There are soundtracks that I have listened to all my life, but I still today don’t know the whole lyrics, but I know every note and arrangement of the music. Felicia’s songs are some of them I know by heart inside out, musically so to say.”
Daniel Szpigler, Scenic Art Producer at Cirkus Cirkör

“You have a very strong presence in your voice and your body!
I think your songs are like whole worlds in themself.”
Annou Nilsson, butoh dancer and member of the Floating Gallery, Malmö, Sweden

WOW FELICIA! FANTASTIC MUSIKVIDEOS!! The text, the music, your vocals, your appearance, Peggy’s pictures and cuts, Miguel’s solodance – I am SO touched and impressed and inspired!
Charlotte Elm Ravn, Actor, Puppet Player working in Copenhagen, former gallerist for Kulturum, and now also a working politician in FI, Hammenhög, Sweden.

“The music on Cosmic Wash Over feel so naked and disclosure, it really leaves an imprint. To me it has become a wholeness that just grows and grows. What a gift you have in your voice. ”
Stig Kälvelid, Photographer

“A sound I really like, I listened to your record on the way up to Stockholm – so really good! To me that has listened a lot to Joni Mitchell and Ricki Lee Jones it sounded wonderfully recogniciable.”

and the driving force toghether with Dag Nemeth for Garageprojektet

Review from Lira

We have been reviewed, read it in swedish in : LIRA, a Swedish Music Magazine.
In the papermagazine just before Christmas 2011 there were faults in the basic facts that is now corrected on the net version. So read the net version! The critic was not so positive but she uses “incredibly opinionated” and that that I really like!

“Musical installation. The entrance to Cosmic wash over was a live recording where Felicia Konrad along with Caroline Leander played the song Growing in heart without any repetitions at all. It created a starting point and a guideline for how the working process as to create and record was developed, and that which originally was planned to be a solo project developed into a co-working project, to which Mats Persson, David Carlsson, Robin Knutsson and Peter Tegnér also joined.

In bits the album it resulted in is more about musical installations than regular songs. Sometimes it is finely tuned, fumbling and flighty. Sometimes bombastic, intrusive and intense. All the time incredibly opinionated. There is, without question, a drive in Felicia Konrad and her fellow musicians to strive outside of the ordinary. To reach another musical horizon and create a new universe. Personally i am not convinced. Even if the finely tuned bits are better than the more intense ones, I don’t find the heart and soul in the music. It is a fine try but there won’t be any cosmic wash over this time.”

So come on!
